The Beauty of Peace

Peace is brilliant,
War is resilient.
Peace is good color,
War is bad odor.
Peace is elephant,
War is ant.
Peace is eternal,
War is infernal.
Peace is reason,
War is treason.
Peace is solution,
War is corruption.
Peace is construction,
War is destruction.
Peace is lawful,
War is awful.
Peace is life,
War is knife.
Peace is godly,
War is worldly.
War will dissolve,
But Peace will solve.

  1. […] Good man, evil man Good man, evil man (A response to The Beauty of Peace) […]

  2. There is a lot to say on the topic of “good versus evil” or “peace versus war” but if we had to choose between war and peace, what would we choose? The freedom of the poet is that he or she can challenge realities and fly on the wing of the ideal. Let us enjoy the ride, at least for a moment…

  3. How about “War is little ant”? It would stretch out the line and having the same meter as “Peace is elephant”. Or you could leave it, and the ant line becomes the neck.

  4. Wow, what a discovery. I did not know that you write poesy. Beautiful! Where are you these days?

  5. Hi Jutta!
I am just trying to play with words when I have the opportunity to do so. I will send you an email.
